Re: 245 60 15 tires
The '82 pace car, not the copies for the public, but the real one, used 245/60s front and rear with no mods. Not a big deal. But not ideal either. If I was set on using 15s, I'd use 235/60s all around on 8s with 4.5" backspacing, not the stock 7s.

Re: 245 60 15 tires
I run 235/60-15 front, and had 255/60-15 rear for awhile, now 275/60-15 rear.
All on 15x8 1978 trans am snowflake wheels.
The 255/60's stuck out a tad.
I don't think the 245/60 would work too good up front as my 235/60s fills the wheelwell up pretty good.
Here's some of my pics

Re: 245 60 15 tires
15" tires are getting harder to find, I have 265 50 15's on the rear. They will fit up front, but it's a right fit. Exuse the dirtiness, its been sitting waiting for me to pull the engine.
