17x10 on third gen?

Has anyone see or achieved running a 17x10 on a third gen? Found a decently nice set of american racing wheels that are hard to find and really want to get them but 10 wides are a little big. Has anyone pulled this off or think I would be able to make it work?

I run 19x10 on the rear of my 92 with 3" wheel spacecrs. I have 18x8.5 on the front with 2" spacers. If the offset is right or you can use the proper size spacer it should work.

I've run 17x11 on the rear of my 91 Firebird. Stock height with a 4th gen rear. Bolted up no problem.

17' x 10" fits on the rear, no problem.

In the front, it is going to either hit the tie rod or stick out a tad. Optimal size is 9.5" wide for a 17. You move up to 18 and things change - it will clear the tie rods and tuck in with the right offset.
