4th gen rims

I have a GTA, fire red in color (with the gold badging).
At the moment I have centerline rims on my car which are polished aluminum.
Let's just say that they wore off on me and so I want to try something different. I did not get the car with GTA rims and don';t want to spend huge money.
I have a set of chrome rims left over from my dads 2002 transam. The chrome is peeling and so I want to repaint them in either gunmetal gray/charcoal gray or black.

I was leaning towards gray, but I am not sure. These rims are the 16' rims so I am planning that when I get ready to rotate tires, these will be ready.

I have looked for pics but haven't really found much. What have you guys done?

Save your money up & get the stock rims. Your notchback will be worth more stock than modified.

Nevermind, just saw you've got a Vortec in there.

Yea, stock was never an option for me. I inherited it modified. Lol

And don't regret it one bit

16" tires to fit (245-50-16) are going extinct - no real choice in terms of "performance tires" these days.

Personally I would made them look pretty and sell them - use the $ to buy a set of 17" or 18" wheels...

Well the tires I have are BF Goodrich SuperSport A/S and they still have plenty of tread left (in the back more so than the front) - alignment is outta wack and need to get it done again.

Honestly I just need to know how they will look before I touch them.

Re: 4th gen rims

You know you'll need 2 inch adapters for the front and rear, right?
