I got mine for that price in November. I couldn't pass on that deal. Hawk's is moving to a new location and I guess they're trying to move less inventory.

Has anyone tried bigger brake kits under these wheels? Same rules apply as to other 17 inch rims?

Due to the design, you won't be able to fit much larger than 13" 4 piston brakes without running into clearance issues with this style wheel. Someone chime in that has experienced this.
There are other 17" wheels that will fit up to 14" 6 piston brake kits, but those are not "mesh style" offerings...
