WTB set of WS6 caps for my 91 GTA WS6, just curious if i should try and hunt down an original used set or go with a new set of reproduction caps. My car is all original except for the steering wheel, but i noticed the center caps on my GTA have the firebird emblem & not WS6?

91 GTA should have gold WS6 caps. Gold birds are correct for 87 and early 88 GTA. If you buy the right ones I would be interested in buying your gold birds because originals were stolen. I am located in Ontario, please send PM if you wish to sell.

I removed my factory ones and replaced them with after market in case they get damaged or stolen while out and about enjoying a flight in the bird.

 

I've looked at those & also the WS6 emblem sets are available with no caps. Just have to silicone/glue the new emblems to the old caps! It would be cool to keep the original caps & just install new WS6 emblems, but those reproductions look damn nice too!!

There are definitely subtle differences that allow you to determine real or fake. But the repro's are darn good, good enough for what I wanted to use them for.

No ebay listing ships free to Canada! Every set of caps I've seen on ebay is around $69US and wants atleast $30-35 USPS Shipping to Canada and some quotes are higher than that.
The fbodywarehouse link does show free shipping US & Canada, but the price is $93.99 US.

I had bought NOS caps and emblems several years ago but ending up selling them when I lost a job. Then a couple years ago I bought the reproductions that have the GM Restorations Parts approval sticker on them. The reproduction caps seem good enough, but the colour of the gold lettering on the emblems I think is terrible. When seen without another gold emblem next to them, they are not nearly gold enough IMO. At first I thought the seller had sent me silver emblems by mistake but after putting it next to my originals, I realized they were a tiny bit gold. Get what ya pay for haha!
