How do you keep your wheel caps in place?

So I think we all know how scarce some of the OEM wheel caps are getting and I'm paranoid of losing any (more) of mine. I had a perfect set of silver fire chicken caps, but one went missing after a "spirited" drive.

I just got a set of gold WS6 caps that cleaned up really nice and I'm just trying to think of fail safe ways to keep them on the wheels. They came with the metal retaining clips, but don't seem to sit as snug as I'd like.

How do you guys keep you wheel caps in place?

My caps are EXTREMELY snug on my wheels and I've never lost one. Take the caps off and bend the metal tabs outwards to increase the resistance on the inner lips of the wheel's center bore.

ALL of my plastic caps are worn out. I use black silicone to hold them in. My TA rims are black centers, too, so it's hard to see the extra silicone (I do wipe the excess off).
You may have to hold them for a couple of minutes if you have excessive slack- I use my short jack handle and wedge it.

Tweak the tabs when possible plus a little bit of silicone, and never pass up a stray cap or 2 at a flea market.
