Wondering if my wheels will look funky
I'm about to buy a set of JEGS Sport star 5 spoke race wheels. 27mm offset and 4 inch backspacing. The fronts are 15x7 with 205/65r15 tires and the rears with 15x8 4 1/2 backspacing equipped with 255/70r15 tires. I know what offset is but i dont know the optimal offset for my 1982 Firebird.
Any help is welcome. Thanks!

The rear tires are going to be 3" taller than stock and will look odd.

I would consider this set up as far as tire sizes for those wheels are concerned. It works for me.

I have since started using the Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tires.
Never had a problem with Cobras but love the new Mickeys....
