16" to 17"?

So I have finally pulled the trigger, going from stock 16" (235 55R16) to 17" (17x9 '02 35th wheels). Will 275 40r17s be the best fit for overall fitment, and speedo accuracy? Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks, as always

275-40-17 is the correct size - no need to correct the speedo.

You need about 5" of BS with those wheels, so take the wheel BS, subtract 5" and that is the spacer thickness you need.

Thank you.

Unfortunately stock style wheels are flawed when it comes to weight vs. brake clearance vs. weight vs. cost - so we went with something more accommodating.
