Need help with 82 Berlinetta Tires
I recently bought an 82 berlinetta that was once owned by my father and I need to replace the tires. It had white stripe tires on it when he owned but they were repleced by the second owner. Can anyone tell me what brand these may have been?

I can provide some information -- but not exactly what you asked for.
I certainly relate to your car, as my father bought a 1982 Berlinetta (black too) when I was 15 years old! It was a V6 with a 4-speed manual, and I later owned it as my first car (eventually driving it to 227,000 miles on the odometer).
The only issue is that we ordered the car with blackwall tires, not whitewalls. I still remember that the brand was Uniroyal. They were a comfortable tire but not great for handling. When they showed some dry rot, we replaced them with Goodyear Eagle GTs (also blackwalls).
I have no idea of whether GM used the same brand for blackwalls and whitewalls. I'm not even sure whether all the 1982 Berlinettas with blackwalls would necessarily be Uniroyals. Back then, we kind of viewed them as generic tires. It was well known that Z28s came with Eagle GTs, but I wonder if the Sport Coupes and Berlinettas may have come with different brands (depending on availability).
