My N90's look kinda shabby- opinions?

This is about as clean as they get. From what I gather, the clear coat comes off over time, making them look this way... going forward, am I best to follow one of the excellent DIY's here, and grind off all the finish and keep them polished? Car is not driven much, and will be kept in the garage mostly.

The black part in the middle still looks good, so I may try to mask and save it.
Thanks for looking, J.

Polishing would be a pain. I'd smooth out the rough spots, wet sand with 400. Prime any pits if necessary, keep sanding and filling until the surface looks good, then repaint the Argent, and the black, clearcoat, and go. Wash and wax the wheels like the rest of the painted parts of the car.
