Will these fit my 83Z? 17*9.5
Will I need to modify bump stops, buy spacers etc?
Would 8.5 up front be safer?
If so, can I run the same tire size? I bought BFG 275/40/17
Thanks!

You will probably need a small shim/spacer about 1/4" to clear everything. The tie rod is where it's going to be close.
Or use an 18" version and it will fit right on.
