Finally got around to putting the C6 wheels on the Z28. Pretty happy with the appearance and the ride feels really good too. The rears required a little more spacer than 2.5", ordered a 5mm (3/16") spacer to add to the 2.5", it is just barely rubbing while cornering (285/35 19) in the rear mainly on the driver's side . Used 2" spacers in front with 245/40 18 (BFG G Force Sport Comp 2). All spacers are hub centric. For the rears to fit properly at least for the driver's side while corning a 2 11/16" spacer would have been required. I could only find 2.5" so I had to add the 5 mm spacer (just over 3/16") to the 2.5". I felt around and there is a small hump that barely protrudes out at the front of the inboard rear fender well. It is just enough that when cornering caused a minor rub on the inside of the tire with just the 2.5" spacer. It could be just as simple as something off with the car, like suspension or even the way the rear axle is installed as there is no issue on the passenger side. It is close on the passenger side but there is about an 1/8" of spacing more than the driver side. So I just ordered two 5mm spacers to add to the 2.5". Now there is enough room no matter how hard I corner.
