Tire size on -82 Camaro

I have just recently bought an -82 Camaro and I am looking into some BF Goodrich tyres for it.
I want to use my stock 15" wheels, and I wonder how wide my tires can be without rubbing into something.
I want them to be nice to drive with as well.
Is 235 or 245 a reasonable size ?

Both of those should fit, just depends on how you like the look. Do a search in the wheel & tire forum on here and you'll get lots of pictures.

235/60-15. They are the same diameter as the original 215/65-15 but a little wider...

I think I will go for the 235/60 - 15.
