Wheel stud - issue with fitment

Hey guys.
So got my Iroc 88 last year, and im still learning my way arround this car.

last owner had this “creative” wheel stud fitment!
and trouble is that i can’t get them off again.

I need to fit the same lenght studs again (70mm under head 12x1.5)

Should i pull out the rear Axle to get enough room ? Any ideas would be appreciated…

I've never seen wheel studs like that. I agree, cut them off. I'd expect normal studs won't fit though. Are those just bolts that were welded in?

After second thought, I wouldn't be surprised if the stud holes are wallowed out. Those shoulder bolts likely slipped in but as you drive will enlarge the holes. Be prepared to replace more than just studs.

Just by looking at the Home Depot bolts as wheel studs I'd say replace both axles that have proper wheel studs

I'd visit the junkyard and get a pair of axles.

Creative way to apply Darwin, I'll give it that at least...

This feels to me like one of those things that "RIGHT" is the only "Good Enough". Like the others have said, replacement time.
