Putting 5th gen Camaro wheels on 3rd gen, what adapters do I need?

I have 5th gen Camaro ss wheels and I’d like to put them on.

my local shop gave me adapters that worked but had the hub lip that was too big, so for 5 years I gave up and let the car sit in my garage, I’m giving this one last shot, anyone know what size adapters I should get? I hear it’s not worth shaving off the lip to have the rim fit so I’d rather be safe and buy a new one.

ive seen it done on this forum before but never got the specs of what they used

I have used 18" c6 wheels on mine for a short period and I used some 2" adapters I found on amazon. I believe I just searched for 3rd gen or S10 wheels spacers since the 3rd and 4th gens along with many gm vehicles and some BMW have the same bolt pattern 5x4.75 to 5x120. Just make sure the thread pitch on the lugs and lug nuts is 12x1.50 acorn seat. The 2' spacer will also give you the space needed for the center bub to stick into and not poke out the center caps.

I did the c6 18x8.5 fronts and a 2” spacer
rear i did the 19x10” rear and a 2.5” spacer

I had the same issue and required a slight hone on the wheel for hub spacer clearance despite the hub spacers stating corvette compatibility.

The inside flange of the 5th gen wheels are 67mm, whereas the 3rd gen Camaro and Corvettes have a 71mm flange. You can enlarge the inside flange of the wheels or get flanged spacers to adapt the wheels.
