Found it. Owner lists it as a Z28, but I think we all know better.

That would make sense, it looks like it was an RS at one point in it's life.

A lot easier to change emblems than hoods and spoilers.

What am I missing? I don't follow. Is it because it's an RS with TPI and 5 speed

B4C's were RS's with Z28 motors. He says it has an "advanced handling package.

LB9's were not available in the RS....

B4C Gurus you out there ?

OK guys, it is a legitimate B4C. Being that it is in Tx, it used to be an old Texas highway patrol car. You can see white in the doors and black at the bottom. Plus the car is stripped of options just like the DPS ordered them.

The 8th digit of the vin is F for LB9 305 230hp engine. The onlyl way the HP ordered theirs. If you ever see a RS w/ the 8th digit either an F or an 8, its a B4C.

Thanks for the post, i need that vin number for my collection. Actually I need all 589 of them.

It's an add-on glove box. Kinda worthless to me. It holds some cassettes/CD and has 2 spots to put a cup. I found it once in classic industries. I'll see if I can find it again.

Seller has sunroof listed under options, but looking close I don't see one either. Maybe he's thinking sunshade? Nobody bidding on it so far, might go cheap for a 92, especially for a Texas car that should have perfect sheetmetal.

I bought it! Now I have to get it back to NW Indiana. Still deciding whether to fly-n-drive or have it shipped. DAS will ship it for $600-$700.

Anyone know how I can find the service history on this car?

You will have to contact the State of Texas for service history records. That car has been out of service since at least 95-96 time frame. Dont know if they keep the records that long. Try calling (512)424-2047 and ask.
