Wow, really nice. I like the color a lot and I love the rims and the Hooker exhaust. I would suggest getting the grid style taillights. They look much better IMO.

I to wish the snypers came in 18's but the 17's do look really hard. I will get some better pics, rear view and such when I go back to work and use the camera. I plan on getting fog lights and possible the grid style tailightsto wrap up exterior mods.

Oh I forgot to mention that I have Borla tips on my hooker cat back. Looks better than the ones that came with the kit.

They are the intercooled tips, about $80 each out of jegs or summit. They cost me almost as much as the cat back. I will get better pics of them. I would recomend not getting the slant tips because I had them for about 5 minutes and they looked rediculous. The slant is too much and it looked dumb. I returned them for the ones that are cut stright. Oh and you have to cut off about 6 inches or so off the pipes to get the tips to fit without sticking out of the back.

Nice car, really like the wheels. What made you spend the extra money on the SLP tips? Are they stainless or something?

They aren't SLP, they're Borla, but I can see where you get the idea of them being SLP with the prices aimed to rape
Yep, I'm pretty sure they are SS, and they have a look that I've never seen anywhere else before. I'll prolly keep the stock hooker ones cause I'm poor

I got the stainless Borla ones because they looked so cool and they are the round ones. I had the Hooker tips on for like 2 months and they completely rusted out. I even waxed them. Mind you that this was in the middle of the summer and the car only drove a few hundred miles with those tips on. The crome flaked off and they rusted out in chunks from the inside. They pretty much dissintegrated and it made the car look like poop. Anyways I did make out on the deal and Jegs gave me 60 bucks for them because they said that they were pieces of junk. I tried to call Holley and Hooker but they did nothing. They polish up really nice and I am so glad I went with the Borla. Plus the spacing between the tubes on the Borla is close than the Hooker and it looks crisper and better made.

I thought of a few suggestions... first off, do you like the taillight blackouts? I think they look schweet, but that's just my opinion. Also, ever think about painting your calipers and drums? Help set it off since our wheels are so open. Overall besides those things, I don't think there's much appearance to be done to yours. Looks clean

This might be a dumb question too, considering they're just tips, but are there ANY advantages to using intercooled tips over regular ones?

Nice car. Really clean.
Couple of things.
1. I wouldnt paint the calipers, would draw more attention to those tiny rotors on our cars. Esp. with those rims.
2. Grid tail lights.
3. I dont like the pinstriping, pulls the eye too much.
4. Tint maybe.

I've had my tips almost a year and they still look good, just need to be taken care of. Though only thing I don't like, is in between the tips I guess the heat kind of messes up the finish, other than that, some chrome polish and occasional windex and they look good.

StngKlr,
I thought about getting rid of the stripes but they are sorta unique. I don't see many camaros with them that say heartbeat on the back in real small letters. I also thought about tint but really not sure what it would look like. Tinit looks great on black, white, red and orange cars but I am not sure it would look so hot on my car.
MikeDwhoROCZImports,
I am not really sure what the advantages of intercooled tips are over regular. I just now that Borla stands out above any other exhaust so people will reconize them. They are thee inch but the intercooling makes them look a tad smaller and a lot nicer and not as big and round.
Hg,
I don't really like the blackouts unless they are on a black car. I think they look a bit on the "bubble side" and look a little on the cheap side.
I won't get my rotors painted yet because I am getting Baer brakes soon and I will get those painted for sure. The rear drum doens't stand out to bad because it is pretty big unlike other cars with drums that are VERY small.
91rsrider,
By the end of the summer I plan on getting the grid tailights and foglights.
BadBird84,
The car is the origonal Metallic Red from the factory. I like it alot and it still has that sparkle to it. I have seen this color a lot on thirdgens that have faded considerablyy and don't appear to be anything other than a dull maroon.
heavy_chevy29,
Here is a break down on what I spent from factory 15x7 Rs wheels and stock suspension to these.
Eibach Sprtline Springs - $200
17x9 ROH Snyper front/rear - $880
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS 245/45/17 - $165 (Each)
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS 275/45/17 - $215 (Each)
Spohn Adjustable Panhard bar - $125
Spohn LCA Relocation Brackets - $65
Labor - $150
Tax - $129
About $2400 big ones all in one shot

Which baer brakes are you getting? I think it's the Bear Claws... OMG, they look AWESOME. They huge, barely fit into an IROC wheel, and they are just mean looking with their drilled/slotted rotors... I saved pics of someone's, don't remember who's it was though... they are MEAN, but big BIG *B-I-G* $$$.
