cowl that you "bolt-on" to your hood

i was looking on ebay for a powerbuldge hood, but i couldn't find one, but i found this.... personally i think it looks good, but this is a promotional photo, so obviously it will be nice looking... does anyone have this on their cars? pictures? what do you think?

Bolt on? that would mean its non functional, just a hunk of metal on your hood? hmmmmm no. A waste if you ask me.

JCWhitney sells all kinds of stick on or bolt on cowl pieces. Most add-on's are made from rigid urethane/plastic or fiberglass.

ok why not bolt it on, then cut out the center section under the cowl to make it fuctional? do u need to reinforce the hood also so it doesnt cave in when u try opening it?

i think you would be fine as long as it's a rigid scoop, and it's attached to the hood correctly.
