i know the 4th gen concept cars were the '88 banshee and the 4th gen iroc-z concept. But, anyway was there a 3rd gen concept car that was like the banshee? A concept before 1982 production.

I know there was at least one, I recall seeing pictures of it in a book somewhere...it's been awhile since I seen it though, don't remember which book.

Okay, I dug through some of my old books and I found the one with concept pictures. Most of them are models, some are full size. The book is called Camaro, The Third Generation by Michael Lamm. It's a pretty cool book for those who have not seen it.

Very vette like in the clay models. I like how the B-pillars are swept back a bit.

It's funny they made another concept car called a banshee. John Delorian wanted originally to call the Firebird, Banshee. GM did not like the idea so they went with Firebird.
