Corvette Rear End

Would a C4 Corvette Independent Rear end fit on an IROC-Z? What would need to be modified to make it fit?

It has been done. There are many things to change..... You basically are going to back-half the car, change the floor, relocate the gas tank, and possibly shorten the half-shafts. Not to mention having to locate the four-link suspension and mount the torque arm.... but you can ditch the single leaf and step up to coil-overs!!!

Ditto everything chacane67 said. I have seen it done, but its way to much work to make it worth while. It was one of those GM "one-off" vehicles like the 4-wheel steer IROC-Z or the ZR-1 Z-28. I think it was built just for ***** and giggles or maybe even bragging rights. Thats about it. Who knows if it will actualy give enough benefit to be worthwhile.
