What tires for Iroc 16" wheels
Will a 255/50/16 fit my 85 Iroc without issues on the stock wheels? Looking at the Kumho Supra 712. Thanks

255s on the front will rub on some vehicles, thats way walter has a good combo 245s on the front and 255s on the back.

I've got the Kuhmos, and I like them a lot. Look good, bite hard once they warm up, and never squeal unless they're low on air. Had a knot pop up on one sidewall though and had to replace that tire.
I suckered out and put the 255s on the back. The 255s are noticably taller than the 245s that I have on the front, and rake the *** of the car just a bit, which I personally dislike. Taller tires also take a little bit of your rear gear ratio away too, which, in most cases will slow acceleration just a tad.
Realize that the Kuhmos are directional tires so when you rotate them, you'll have to break them down off the wheels and swap them side to side. With wider tires on back, you won't be able to rotate them front to rear as well.
Next time, I'll put 245s all around.
Just my .02
