Best injectors for the HSR

I want to replace my injectors. I think they are leaking, but I want to send them out to be rebuilt and save as a backup. Right now I have the stock 19lbs injectors and I don't want to have to change anything to fit other injectors. What are your recomendations?

Looks like you have a 350. If so it came from the factory with 22# injectors. So I would at least get 22 pound injectors. The factory 350 eprom is set up for 22 pound injectors.

I would go with some Bosch injectors. The Ford SVO injectors are Bosch. Can buy new ones at placing such as Jeg's, Summit, and a host of other locations.

I ran the 24#/hr Facing Racing (aka SVO) injectors in my rebiult 350 for several years. They cost about $210 at Summit.

However, in the last year (or two), SLP can set you up with $100 (or so) injectors that flow 25#/hr. These should fit your fuel rail because they are GM injectors that were removed new from an engine that they biult up and installed higher flow injectors 9 at least that is what I understang about the SLP injectors).

SLP changed their opinion on the LS1 injectors... They do NOT recommend using LS1 injectors on TPI... LS1 injectors can be used on LT1... and LT1 injectors on TPI... but not LS1 on TPI... for what reason I do not understand that one... something about 3 bar and 4 bar.... LS1 injectors on TPI do not run enough fuel even though they are rated higher.... makes your car run lean

i went with ford red tops. but a more stock 350 probably doesnt need 30# injectors. defenitly get bosch...ive heard some bad things about accell for some reason.

Thanks for all the recomendations. Right now I am leaning towards 24# Bosch.

I've had good luck with the Ford Motorsports injectors. I normally wouldn't admit it but I looked in the back of a Mustang magazine and got the name of some dealers. Actuall saved some money over Summit.

By the way, the LSI motors run much higher fuel pressure than a typical TPI motor.

accell is bosh and accell is crap they dont make good fuel injectors, i had some bad right out of the box and they dont give a good warranty many problems with those fuel injectors,

and well the ford svo's or ford fuel injectors are well engineered.

you need a bosh style II fuel injector

i would reccomend a pink top set from ford or blue top svo's if your going to be getting a chip made

you can get pink tops from here or blue tops

Might try this guy brian bowen 734-762-6050. I got a set 42lb svo green tops for $250 shipped nib, for my twin turbo setup. Give him a call he might have a good deal on some injectors for your project

You can find the Ford Motorsport 42 lb/hr 'green tops' all over Ebay in the $225-250 range, new in box. I bought a new set from a seller called 'stangstore' for $244, shipped to my door. I replaced a set of 'red top' 30 lb/hr. Both sets worked well.

You won't be disappointed with any of the Ford Motorsport/SVO injectors. Good bang for the buck.

When I called Ed Wright (fast chips) he recommended the Motorsport injectors over all other aftermarket ones... And everyone else seems to like them also... I second the motion, best bang for the buck
