Hey 91Bandit........

Hey Im in cincinnati too......You go to Edgewater alot? I go every once in a while, when I can get off work. Do you know anyone around here that has a ZZ4 cam for sale and some good heads to go with it???? Sorry the post is a little off topic....

For anybody else, Will the stock TPI unit be sufficient for the ZZ4 cam and Vortec heads? Or should I go with Dart Iron Eagles? I have money to blow....please help....all opinions welcomed.......thanks in advance....

i haven't been to Ricewater or Tri-state all season.i'm not going with out my car.i'll have her there next season though

make sure you check out www.gcfba.com the sites down right now but keep checking on it.we need more 3rd gens on there.

and as for the stock intake being enough to feed the ZZ4 cam and Vortec heads.either of these aren't really that radical.so they'll work well with the stock intake.
you do know the stock TPI base wont bolt up to these heads right?do a search for Vortec heads on this board.

The vortec heads wont bolt up with my TPI intake??? I thought it would since my intake has the revised bolt pattern like the Vortecs......or will I have to have it machined? Hmm, In that case, what heads besides Edelbrock can I get?? Im not a big fan of aluminum.........

If you have the scoggin dickey vortec TPI intake, it'll fit. Nothing else will work with the vortec heads. My dad is putting together a 350 engine with ZZ4 cam and vortec heads. Desktop Dyno says it'll make over 350 HP at the crank.
