This is from steve:

The only headers available coated are:

30000
30001
30005

On the GP add $100.00 for coating option on those.

I have a couple more questions:
How much for the other things like installation kit and cat adapter?
The ceramic coating, that lowers underhood temps right? Will that stuff wear off or is it like the jet hot stuff and will stay for a long time?
And again, when is this ending?

Thanks

The coating is very similar to jet hots

Ceramic coating, yes keeps temps low, and its plyable to a point, so if you bend it it'll follow the metal.

I dont think kits will be a part of this...

Buy the headers now so you can install them when you do get the car

Headers GP

Out of all headers in this group purchase which would be the best ones for my car it's a 1987 GTA, 350 engine, automatic. I would get them coated for the extra 100$. I would like to know which hi-flow cat would work well and fit with these headers. I am looking to spend around 100-150 for a cat. Then I am looking at buying the hookercat-back. So which cat would work with a hooker cat-back and SLP headers..Single cat. I am hoping my tax refund is big so I can afford this

If its emissions legal and single cat

For a 350 I would buy the 1 3/4 w/A.I.R single cat

the part number would be
30001
coated it would be 30001c

let me know if you're going to buy

header Gp

Well I live in Mason City Iowa, I have never had to have my car inspected or anything, I don't know if we have pollution laws in Mason City, but would an exhaust shop put headers w/o A.I.R on my car. Would that be illegal. and also when is this ending Thanks.....Derek

No its not Illegal

I wouldn't even take it to a shop to install the headers though, I'd do that part yourself...

On the coated headers, is the y-pipe coated too or just the headers? Thanks again.

Just for some compairison

Jet hot wants $179 to do 2 shorty headers, no y pipe.

You're getting the coating internal and external for $100 plus a vehicle life time warranty, as long as you own the vehicle SLP warrantys the coating.

Considering the Y-pipe is under the car it would only be overkill to coat it anyways

If the "Y" pipe comes with the headers, I'm in for the 3005C (coated 1 3/4"-no smog tubes). When and how do you want the money? How long before expected delivery?

Ok guys we passed the 6 mark, Time to order!!!

Here's what you do!

Go to http://www.spohn.net

Go through the motions as though you were ordering a set of LCA relocation brackets, fill in all the information etc, then when you get to the comments field put in this

Example: SLP GP - Order #01 - #30001c

#01 will be who you are on my list,
I would be 01
z28 would be 02
and so on..

then the part number follows that as shown in the example above
Steve spohn sees all the orders and he will realize what is going on, these are HIS instructions

If you're uncomfortable ordering online you can call him at 1-888-265-6064

The gp needed 6 people, there's 7 now, I dont know if it goes through only as 6 and the 7th falls into a new gp or what.. so i suggest being one of the first 6 just in case

Lets get to it guys! The sooner steve has all the orders the sooner we get our parts!!!!
