I expected MAX 120HP

But I got 93.3HP and 204TQ

My car only has a high flow cat and has about 120k miles on it. Has anyone experienced something similar to this

I think it may be a loss in compression....

Good news- it's not your compression. Bad news is it's something else. A nose-over like that tells me you've either got a very constricted exhaust or a clogged up fuel filter or mabe the pump in the tank is going bad. That jsut doesn't look like the power curve of even a stock motor. I know these things are not high RPM screamers but it should not "fall off a cliff" like that at only 3000.

damon isw right, there's something very wrong there.

i just put mine on a chassis dyno a month or so ago and got 167 hp and 254 lbs ft torque. pleanty of other stock or near stock l03's have posted similar numbers on here.

look in the v6 forum ... they put up better than a hundred horses!

well I just got the fuel filter replaced a year ago. My exhaust is stock too...So I'm betting it's the fuel pump...speaking of which does this mean I'm gonna have to take down the fuel tank to get to the fuel pump?

yeah, it looks like you are running out of fuel up high, my took a nose dive like that on the dyno, but it was a clogged cat, i would think that it something in the fuel system. you didn't happen to get a WBO2 readout did you?

Okay, so I'm about to change my fuel pump. Is there suggestions on what could be the problem?

As far as I know all the other stuff is either new or still working fine. Now that I think about it does sound like the car needs more fuel when ever I go WOT....

It could also be a clogged cat.

I'm pretty sure it's not...I just got it replaced about two years ago and I also passed emissions (if that counts).

well I would go over all the basics first. Are all the plug wires connected and on the right plugs, is your timing right, etc.

$30 and any joe blow could figure out if their fuel pump is bad. The gauge is $20, the t-fitting is less than $6, and rubber line to run it up from the flex line up to the windshield is less than $3.
I can't speculate what the problem might be.

check pressure (fuel), timing, plugs. hmm maybe drop the TBI for a "insert manifold namebrand here" and a holley carb.
