I really don't like em. Looks like a wagon wheels in chrome.

If it was 7 spokes they would be really neat.
Price is kind of high unless they are true 2 piece rims.

Those should be Volk Racing wheels made by Rays Engineering i believe. A popular wheel company among the import crowd. I believe i saw them in 17x9.5 here: http://www.advanceauto.jp/exterior.htm Not sure on the price but they are some $$. I am sure you could find some cheaper if you looked hard enough. Not a bad wheel. I think they would look better in a 5 spoke design though.

So if they were 5 or 7 spoke they wouldn't be r----y ? 6 is the magic number to make it import-esque ?

Of course they are expensive.. anything nice is... something f-body people don't like hearing...

Kind of like the reproduction notchback............

"So if they were 5 or 7 spoke they wouldn't be r----y ? 6 is the magic number to make it import-esque ? "

I do not think anyone said anything about them being non r----y if they were 5 spokes, i was the only one who had mentioned the 5 spokes thing. "I" just think they would look better that way, and unless they have changed the constitution since the last time i have looked at it, i am allowed to think that. I do agree with you on this statement though, "Eh there kinda ***** looking." To me, that makes no sense! Sorry, not flaming, i was just trying to clear up your post deadbird. I did not want to be implied at saying or thinking anything that i was clearly not. later

Those really don't look all that bad, and I HATE most six spoke rims.

Yeah about 99% of the wheel manufacturers in Japan will custom make boltpattern, offset, and backspacing. Most of the marketing you'll see is geared towards the Sport Compact crowd, but they will make wheels that fit domestic cars as well. The reason they cost so much is because they are well built. Just like HRE's or I-Foarged wheels, but instead of paying for the name you are paying for the quality. And of course they are imported so that adds to the cost. I once looked into buying a custom set of 18" 3 piece SSR roadrace wheels for my Camaro, but the price turned me off. The set I wanted was $3200 for wheels w/o tires (18x9.5 front, 18x11.5 rear). Ended up going with cheaper 18" Billet wheels from Boyd (18x8 front, 18x9.5 rear) for $2500 with S03's.

For the guy that thinks they look ***** (which is quite ridiculous if you ask me) and wonder why every 3rd gen Camaro from Japan he has seen has those wheels, you gotta realize that a Camaro is an import in Japan. They do not have access to the aftermarket we enjoy in the US. So if they want aftermarket stuff, they will go with something local, which means something Japanese. Nothing wrong with that.

I think they look great and personally would love it if Japanese companies became more involved with the 3rd gen aftermarket.
