What is this cable for?
It came with my TPI wiring harness and i don't know what it is. I'm guessing something having to do with the cruise control. Thanks.

Firebird owners might be able to identify it because it came from 1991 Firebird with 350 TPI. Any firebird owners want to take a crack at it?

i've looked on both my 89 and 91 formulas and dont see anything that looks like that. i'm also curious to know where it comes from. the cruise control in the 89 has something similar but with a totally different plug.

Correct me if I am wrong but the connectors appear to be off of a Ford vehicle. Just letting you know.

Did you ever findout what it is?
I've had my smog pump off many times, and that's definitely not smog related.
The closest thing I have under my hood to that is the cruise control. My connectors are different, and mine has a separate ground wire coming from the harness that I don't see on yours. But other than that, from the length of your wiring and hose, and the way they're bound together, it looks like my cruise control.
So I'd say you're right.
