I have 2 questions. First off, my engine makes a high pitched whistle sound occasionally when the engine is producing a fair amoutn of power (accelerating, passing, etc). It sounds like a vacuum leak, or something. With the hood popped, and the engine running, I can rev the engine, but I hear nothing. The sound only occurs when I'm driving, with some amount of load on the engine. This sound started immediately after an engine shampoo and rinse. I figure a hose, somewhere must have been knocked loose, or partialy disolved by the chemical? I don't knwo where to look. The metal scrunchy hose running from the EGR to the aircleaner is pretty old and beat up. would a crack or bad seal at this point cause a sound liek this? I know this is a pretty lame question, but I'm not very mechanically inclined, and I can't figure this out on my own...

Question 2: I want to take the car in for a tuneup. I'm in Kelowna, BC. Any reputable places someone can suggest? I just replaced the coolant, and air filter (K&N now), but woudl like the injection system cleaned, the timign set (or modifed for increased HP), hoses, plugs, wires, dist cap etc etc. changed. Will they check this stuff and other things liek the EVAP filter I know nothign about etc etc? I would take it to Canadian Tire, but are they capable of this stuff?
