Looks good! Did you spray it with the 3M Scotchguard? If you didn't, you might want to spray it now before it gets too dirty. I sprayed my carpet while it was on my lawn- now my lawn never gets dirty!

No, not yet, haven't had the chance. It's only one panel, not both... the rear passenger side. I placed an order with eastwood today for some tools, and hopefully I'll get a chance to look at it this weekend. I've gotta do some suspension work on my buddy's truck this saturday... and I gotta place his safety above my quarter panel. Oh well.

i like
those floor mats from 1aAuto too? I know they do engraving!
man, that center console looks weird in there ( quess i am used to seeing a 4th gen in mine
)
A new shifter from a firebird will fit (its a little loose, but fits) and really helps out a lot, the stock **** is just out of place IMO

Damn seeing that interior makes me realize how bad I want leather interior, and how much work my interior needs. The shift indicator, the steering wheel, etc. I'm jealous!

cut all holes very carefully, if you cut the wrong place, the carpet could buldge somewhere else
make sure you don't cut to much for the center console, or else you do what TomP did and leave 1/2 showing of bare metal
I cut down the middle through the upper console so that it could overlap and it would lay right on the front hump
cut all holes before putting interior back together, went to take t-tops off to realize i forgot to cut holes for the bag monts over the hump in the hatch
let the carpet lay in the sun for a couple hours to get all wrinkles out
spray with scotchguard will interio not back in to help resist stains and dirt

Only other tip I can think of is this... I used a sharp awl (icepick, etc) to poke thru the carpet to find holes, like the seatbelt hole, or the studs for the seats, etc.
Oh yeah; and you might want to use a torque wrench (buy/borrow/steal if you don't have one) to make sure you get those seat belt bolts torqued down to spec!!!

Well its in and it looks fantastic, it was a custom color, and it is a perfect color match. I also had the opportunity to go through my interior and give everything the once over. I am very satisfied with it. However I do have some complaints, but I wont bore you with my madness....Ill just have to look out for an NOS carpet

LOL, Thanks guys!

Twistopher,
I have to say that the car unfortunately have not made it here yet.... Im aggrevated to say the least!
What happend was that a US customs dude found out that he disliked one of the stamps on one piece of paper from the truck line that took the container to new york, thus everything had to be redone. That whole ordeal made the entire shipment about a month delayed, so that the container didn't leave N.Y. until two days ago... Im promised that it'll be here in about 2 weeks, but Im prepared for 3-4 more weeks, ito give room for some b@stard Norwegian customs people and truckers as well.
In the meantime Im looking at the pics every day to stay sane...LOL
Thanks again for the nice comments on my ride!

Ken

And Timmys88Z, maybe their website went down that day? I clicked on the 1aauto.com link above, and it worked. You can also call them at these numbers (from the webpage):
1A-Auto (carpet place)
Order line: (888)-844-3393
Information: (978)-433-3393
Fax: (240)-332-5990
WhenI bought my carpet, I actually called them, instead of using the website. I wanted to make sure they had my carpet in stock.
