Here is his email address and just because he has a low post count does not mean he is not on the board often. Take the engine fix the car and stop quiting so easily you will find someone to install it or get a book and learn for yourself.

Do it!

Do the swap. Take that for sale sign down and get the motor.
Get a U-Haul if you have to. That is still a lot less expensive than buying another engine.
You'll be okay. It will take some time for the swap, but in the long run, you'll have your baby back.
I went through a painfully slow swap process... I had to wait almost 2 months for my engine to be built for me!
Is it worth it? YES. Don't fret. I wish I had friends like you guys have out there!

Dave if you are truly serious about selling your car. I'd be more than happy to take it off your hands. Once the car still runs, and moves.
get in touch with me.

Dave you give up to easily. You had a FREE engine and you still throw in the towel. Oh well you will regret it later on but I will lock any post i see about how much you miss your camaro or regret selling it especially after the great offer you got. The lg4 swap would have been the easiest swap in the world no computer to hook up just pullold motor insert new motor and hook up what ever needs to be hooked up..........

/rant off

Paul..
relax man im not getting rid of it that easily!
Im going to ask around tommorw if anyone can help me bring up the engine, and once i get the number for the garage that Kevin said would swap the engine for a fair price.. ill see how much the swap will be, and if its worth it for me... im in the stages of seriously buying that IROC-Z.

ill keep you informed tommorw.

IF this is relevant:

If Dave decides "Sell" is his option and someone else here wants his car for parts- I would be willing to pay around $200.00 for the TBI parts on his engine (TB itself, intake, wiring harness, ECM and whatever sensors are on things it needs, air cleaner/intake assembly and distributor). I know it's not alot of money- but if someone's going to buy the car for the wheels and transmission or something- I'm just letting you know the TBI I could make use of...oh- I would also remove the sh*t myself so labour isn't a concern.

email me if this happens...

Just curious......

Why did you close my post for advertising when you have your own created?

Not tryin to stir ****, just the next time u close a post state the reason & dont be a dick about it with your "smiley" as a response.

Not a very good way to make friends.
