14x6 STOCK HUBBIES?
14x6 STOCK HUBBIES?
Hey guys, I just got back from a swap meet
and came across something that I dont really remember seeing before. It was a set of factory firebird wheels with dogdish hubcaps....with a black thirdgen bird in the center! I asked the guy how much, he replied "$5" I said haha no i dont need em there just cool! and as i started walking away, he said well you want em for free then? how could i pass that up!?!? so i took em I think they would be perfect to make my car a sleeper!
Does anyone know what they came out of? There stamped 14x6 1982...I was thinking mabey something like the SE or a 4 cylinder car..
Also if anyone has any pictures of these on a car, thatd be great!
Mabey for sale if someone wants bad enough!
Thanks guys!

sounds like they came from a base firebird only and 1982 only. I don't think engine had anything to do with it, as a base firebird could be had a with a 4-cyl, V6 or V8. the wheels themselves should be steel, possibly black. should be the top one shown here: http://www.gmtips.com/3rd-degree/dox...ls/82f/82f.htm I actually had a pic of a car with those wheels plus the beauty rings but I can't ifnd it at the moment. it looked pretty nice. they're pretty rare nowadays. if you have any pics, I'm curious to see them
