car's going bye-bye

well the car is in storage until next year everybody. imagine my surprise when the front right LCA dropped on me while going straight at 85 mph on a curvy two lane road =D

the nose broke right, then i regained control, only to have it break left and do a 180*spin on me so it could slam itself parallel into a curb at 55 and roll backwards 100 feet, 1/2 over the curb on someone's lawn =/

I limped it home but the front right tire sits at a 30* angle, like this I-----/

i was already planning a frame up on the car but it'll have to be next summer when college is out. on the plus side $150 bought the homeowner new bricks and me their silence, so no high(er) insurance rates for me =D

the next year will be spent missing my beautiful GTA and planning out the build-up next summer ... this car will be the WIN. i'll still be browsing the boards and planning. Updates in a year =)

btw moderators, the body and interior part of my post is this - how would i take 1/8 inch deep gouges out of a rim if i wasn't going to buy new ones, which i am

Oh man, sorry to hear that, atleast you're alright. I had an accident like that a couple months ago, didn't even get a chance to have summer fun with a summer car. Damaged frame and all that, my rim is slanted too, like this \___\. Cost about 7,000 dollars to fix, good luck if you still plan on fixing her. It was my first car too, and I miss her greatly.
I got her in November of 2001. Accident on March 17, 2002.
