Here is a picture of Johny I's little Brother doin a couple of turns at Delaware. This was last weekend at an autocross event.
He was the only 3rd gen in the race and came in dead last to a bunch of Ricers.

I think there will be a couple more 3rd Gens joining him next time and maybe we can beat some of those ricers.

could you tell me more about the races. was it one at a time or a flat out race.

 

It was actually alot of fun. It's a great group of guys, and didn't cost anything to hang out and watch. If you want to race it's $20 for 5 runs. It's an "autocross" style course setup on the oval and paved infield. If you want to run sticky tires, you must have a roll cage. It's one car at a time going for the best time.

rigth on. how about next time telling us before the event so people that dont know about it have a chance to come out. then Scott would not be the only 3rd gen out there.

 

I've always needed an excuse to bust my power steering... its been leaking over the last 5 years... using the stop leaks...

I would have made an announcement, but I only found out the day before it happened. We were only planning on going to watch. We had no idea it was open to anyone.... or else I would have put my sway bar back in and tried it for myself! The next one will be on Sept 8th at the same place. Delaware Speedway, just West of London. The last one was dominated by rice...and a few 5.0s... it would be cool to make an f-body presence.

 

Wow sounds pretty sweet... maybe I will have to make the trip before white days. Parking lots are just not worth the rubber anymore . Maybe I could put my near bald rear 275 on the front and swap the 245s to the rear, now Id like to see a ***** top those results! is the a website with info?
