Just put the Alston's on....

Man, what a difference they make. Had them welded on at a local shop that does all of ******* work. Only cost $100.00 and they even had to cut out my cat (not stock) and move it forward due to it hitting my subframes. I noticed a difference as soon as I drove it. The car feels much tighter then ever. I should have done this a long time ago. I highly recommed this mod to anyone with a third gen. I will attach a couple of pics. Later, T

I always recommend them to anyone looking for a set of subframes for a third gen.Nice pics. They are an easy install and fit very nicely. Can do a set in around 4 hours including welding now..five sets later.Good choice!

Are they not the same? I got the weld ons and they also have the bolt holes, just no hardware. Dont they just charge 20 or 30 more for the bolts?
Regardless, they are worth every penny. I cant wait to put on my STB tomorrow.

No, I did not have to cut the floor. They just welded right in on the subframes. We did have to cut the cat out and move it forward, due to the person who put it on did not put it in the right place. That was the only modification we had to make. The Alston tubular subframe connectors are a great fit. Only less than an inch of ground clearance was lost. T
