Third Gen Camaro in the Movies

I just seen the movie "National Security" with Martin. In the movie he has a black camaro, looks to be early 80s. Doesnt look to bad, well until they kill it with a machine gun anyways.

Oh yeah, it was a pretty funny movie if anyone is thinking about seeing it.

You also did notice that when they show the inside shot of the door, it's unlocked because you can see the orange part of the door, yet he is trying to get his keys out of it........

I just laughed.....

BTW great movie......

*shrug* This just reminded me of last spring when I was asked for my IROC to be used in a music video. Unfortunately it was shortly before relocating to europe so I was just too busy packing up everything in our apartment, plus I was in IL at the time while the video shoot was in Texas two days later.....

Oh, well...

Hey, didn't BOTH Val Kilmer and Al Pacino in Heat have Camaros? I don't exactly remember, I just remember seeing ALOT of fourth gens.

There is always one in the street in the show SEINFIELD
Hey, someone else noticed that! I've seen almost every episode in Seinfeld and there always seems to be a thirdgen in the streets parked. Remember seeing a couple fourth gens in the episode where Jerry, Elaine, George and Kramer are trapped in the parking deck complex too! Glad somebody else noticed that as well. I also see a lot of 80's Porches in Seinfeld too.

Oh and BTW, I always point thirdgens in movies and TV shows, it annoys my girlfriend to no end!

I didnt notice any 3rd gens in the movie HEAT. I do remember that white early 90s Corvette that Val Kilmer drove. Probably with the LT1 engine, it looked awesome.

Teenage Dirtbag, good song, once again the bad guy drives an f-body.
Oh and in the movie Blade blade drives a bad *** custom camaro. not sure if it's in both movies or just the second one. i'm pretty sure both though.

Back in early '91, Great White featured a black w/blue stripe 1990 IROC-Z, with T-Tops in their video Once Bitten, Twice Shy. As well as some hot chicks.

GTATransAM - no, it's a white 4thgen kilmer drives and the 3rd gen is after the getaway driver is shot and they go walkinging and firing down the road toward a police baricade with AR15/M16's..you only see a quick flash of the front, the rest is from the back because kilmer or paccino (can't remember which) take cover behind it and shoot over it...

and where in blade did he drive a camaro? i've seen both and i only remember blade driving a charger/challenger...the same one they totalled out in TF&TF...

Fightclub...The scene at the airport baggage pick-up near the beginning, Brad Pitt peels out in a red (I think) convertible, very short clip.

There was another segal movie. He was a brooklyn cop, chasing some mafia guy. The mafia guy drove a red IROC. That was a lil too steroetypical, ya think? At leasy they didnt have ******s.

Oh and Next of Kin with Patrick Swayze. I think a blue Z? And every time he drove away it sounded like he was getting on it cause the tires always screeched.

Gleaming the Cube had some third gens in it. They had a SC near the end as a stunt car when the skateboard guy was chasing the guy in the cop car. Also there was a sweet *** vert vette.

they get pretty wicked in that IROC, it's pure action, not just a thirdgen passing by or doing a park job, but some real thirdgen mischief!

It's worth watching just to see the dude get wild in that Blue IROC!

I just watched a movie on Encore last night called "Band of the Hand" with nobody famous in it.

They were juvies that were put on a special assignment to get rid of drug dealers. They refurbished this old building, and while they were standing in the road admirring their work, a grey Firebird (82-84) drove by and had the black steel 'nugget' wheels on it.

It was a 1-2 second shot, but I noticed it right away (thanks to you guys )

I saw that last night. I enjoyed all the death scenes.

Oh, and my friend shot a movie a year and a half ago and if my T/A would have been running it would have been in it. Instead, I was driving my old 4th Gen Camaro in the movie.
