I learned that stuff at school, i went to a tech school in wyoming called Wyotech. I paid $350 in materials and that did everything.

Fyrelance i love the look of the red dash in your car, i think it actually looks better with the black gagues than it would with white ones.

I accented a little, but not anything as large as fyre did.

The small amounts i did set off the white gauges nicely.

I cant image link from geocities, so you can go to

www.geocities.com/admrlam/Bird.html

I think the interior pages are the second or third ones in.....

admrlam nice ride. You got any pics of the gauges in the dark with the lights on? I've been thinking of getting the overlays for my car but dunno how they'd look at night.

Why thank you.

Yeah I was going to get white faced gauges but then I painted that interior piece and decided I liked it that way and having white gauges would probably take away from it.

Sweet. I'm also in progress of a few more interior accents to bring it all together, but I don't want to go overboard.

Here's the latest thing I've been working on. I also want to maybe paint the outer two heater vents (but not the middle two because the area surrounding it is red now) and maybe speaker grills and the little corner vents on the dash. But, I'm taking my time on deciding, like I said, don't wanna go overboard.

CustomX that interior is imaculate. It really came from a 98. Did you have any problems mounting the dash or was it a direct bolt/screw in? how much did it cost ?

Here's what I have so far: Tenzo Racing seats, Custom door panels with no door handles, and SPAL windows with the switches mounted in the door (as opposed to in the center console). This is an old pic, the door panels are now all cloth. I'll have to take a new pic tomorrow.

yeah its an old name for me, back when i first reged on cz28 in 98. But ive since moved off x boards when pete left. So i get all my stuff custom from him at his new shop instead of custom from him at customx.

The dash is close to a bolt in, but thiers alot of stuff that has to be moved around, cut rewired etc.

Teh whole setup cost me 50 bucks, but i pulled it out of a good freinds 98 after he plowed into a k wall at 145. Expect to pay 3-4 times that from most places for a used one.

Try looking at the interior at night under blacklight. My car looked clean, but my black floor mats looked like a starfield. And for some reason all the dust/dirt was like a wierd dark green.

That interior is gorgeous! Might I suggest an aftermarket steering wheel? I dunno maybe I just don't like the cover. But that interior looks sweet, love it

Thanks!

Absolutely! I forgot to add that to my list of things to come. That and a matching shifter **** is definitely coming. I don't care for that cover either, but the leather on the steering wheel is worn/dried out so if I have nothing on it my hands (and knees LOL) are all black after a drive.

Yes we are special Josh. I can't wait until my car is done so that I can run with an L98. I am going with performance first, then I will be working on the paint and interior. Thanks for all the good ideas guys.

How did you get your 4th gen gauges to work in your car? Speedo, fuel, etc?

That cluster is ls1 so the tach needs recalibrated (with a dakota digital box, since the ls1 tach is 4 cyl cal), also the ls1 fuel gauge doesnt work so you have to go aftermarket. fyi all guages are electrical as well....

I really like that LS1 dash Custom, very nice work. Maybe one day I will be able to think of something cool like that, but for now I will go with the ideas on this board. I mean come one, where else can you get such great ideas, and who would know better than the members of this website?
