Almost Ready for the Spring

One of the final finishing touches on the car! Notice anything different? Hmmm...

You can still see a bit of the red from certain angles, but overall I'm really pleased with the results. I had them on the car two days ago and I've been dying to take pics...but the garage door was froze shut till today.

looks good. i had planned on doing that to my taillights this winter myself, but i don't know what it is, i like the amber on the rear taillights more than just all red.

I've been debating on it for years and the custom shop owed me a bit of a favour. I was considering doing it myself, but it would have never turned out this smooth.

Isn't the paint a 'red clearcoat', of sorts...?

Alex: Dumbarse...what are you? American?!?

Idle: And then... hahaha Great movie!

Nate: PPG Triple Coat Candy Apple Red...and tail pipe are still the same.

Paul: I should give you my home number cause I rarely use my cell anymore. We'll talk later.

Bubba: Nope you can't tell they are painted...the whole thing was clearcoated so that it would look seemless. This is why I paid to have it done...there is no way I coulda did it that good myself.

Everyone else: Thanks
