So far, ThirdGenResource Problems
First off, the people there HAVE been very pleasant to deal with even though the whole situation at this point pisses me off. This is nothing against them, but here's my situation so far.
1. Called Thirdgen Resource 2 months ago (3/25/03), placed order for 1 bumper cover, 1 front Z28 Lower air dam, park lamps, and a Right side Rocker GFX piece. Told it'd probably be here in around 2-3 weeks.
2. Call after a month, they say they were out of stock on the bumper covers and were waiting on them. That's fine, just wish someone would have let me know.
3. Order gets here today...well, some of it. Front bumper cover has a few scrapes and scratches on it on the edges from where the plastic they wrapped it in had torn. Rocker GFX is missing, and the lower Z28 air dam seemed fine when I fitted it against the old one...till I remembered the side vent holes. They sent an 85-90 style.
4. Called Roy, the rocker GFX will be shipping tomorrow, didn't tell him about the scrapes/scratches on the bumper cover cuz even though it pisses me off considering I ordered a NEW one, I hate shipping stuff and it's not really that big of a deal. BUT when I tell him about the front air dam he says "I seem to remember you saying you didn't want the newer style because it was more expensive." I don't remember saying anything of the sort, nor would I considering I'm not going to ghettofy my car with older gfx. And if I did, I'd make sure ALL of them were the same style.
Anyways, now I have to ship the front air dam back to him and I HATE shipping stuff. Hell, I hate going to the post office even. On top of that, I'm getting charged the difference between the 2 (and probably shipping) which is understandable, but would have been a lot easier on my checkbook when I ordered the stuff rather than now when money's kinda tight considering paying for summer school.
Park lamps look great though
I'm sure the situation will be rectified, even though it still pisses me off. I'll probably end up using them again, mainly because they are cheaper than a lot of places and they are trying to correct the problem.

anyway i am really really trying to keep my calm when i ordered a hood from them early April and still havent gotten it nor any phone calls or e-mails and any updates or problems.

They did take care of everything and now i have the right parts. my credit card hasn't been charged again, so i don't know if i should call them to see if they are or just wait, but everything was corrected.
Business is ran like a bunch of dumb *****. they probably chicken scratch all the orders on a note pad.
If they took proper paper work of the order there would have been no mishap.
thus, they are to blame. I'm in the military, and I can totally see how paper work is so important.. apparently it isn't when your customers seem to be unsatisfied more often than not.

I had some problems with them but since Roy is an honest man he fixed it really good. For example they forgott to send an invoice with the steering wheel i bought from them so after being stuck in Germany for 3 weeks they return the package to Roy and i called him asking where my package is then some 4 days later a UPS guy shows up on my front yard in Sweden with the package , so hes not all that bad.
I gave him a second try two weeks ago when i ordered a aluminium dist. cover so now i just wait and see when it shows up. You never know exactly since the package are drop shipped.

My buddy used to work there it the way they take orders is horrialbe all i hear when im there is roy saying where the **** is that order forum and for the 4th time theyve screwed up my other friends transmission they just cant seem to do anything right
