I used to live just south of Redding, pretty close to there. But now I live over on the coast in Eureka. Still go back home sometimes and even visit my best friend who lives in Sac-town. She goes to Sac-state as well.

I live in Berkeley. about an hour south of Sac. MadZ28, should take you less than an hour to get from Vallejo to Sac. I'm about 15-20 minutes south of you. Guess it depends on traffic though.

Yeah true that on the traffic part. I just went up last friday to get the rest of my stuff from the dorms (i live in Burlingame, like 20 minutes south of SF) and it took me over 3 frickin hours to get to Sac. It was roasting hot too.
I don't have a 3rd gen yet, but hopefully I will soon once I sell my 944.

I live in Rocklin, about 20 mi. NE of Sac. I drive to Davis 4 days a week for school, so you all might see me sitting in traffic on I-80!

I haven't done much to it yet. I've had it awhile but I'm just now gonna be able to do some stuff to it. Gonna start out with little things it needs cosmetically, eventually getting a new paint job. But since I'm a full time college student, I gotta start out small with the limited budget I have. So for now its just a project car.

I am in Oakland, Hey "Formula-90" how do you get that thing to pass smog? Motor Looks sweet. I would be interested in a meet! See what other 3rd Geners are doing in the surrounding area. Anybody know of a good mechanic in the area that specializes in 3RD gen cars. I could use a good diagnostic done on mine.

omcrider, all the smog is there along with ARB stickers and paper work. When it comes time all I need to do is change the throttle body to be 100% smog legal and run it..

omcrider,
I own a smog and repair shop in Carmichael. If you guys want to have a little get together, we can meet at my shop. Another good place to meet is at Mel's Diner in Elk Grove. Hot Rodders meet there every thrusday if I am not mistaken. There's plenty of parking there too.

Nope no track times yet...soon though. I actually still have to get the headers on there...they are hanging in on a wall in my garage. Once I get them on, I'll see what it can do.

I am a newbie to the site, but I'd be interested in meeting up in the Sacto area, I live in the nearby foothills. Meeting in Carmichael and eating in Elk Grove would be no problem for me.

I'll be stopping there tomorrow to confirm and get a time. SO everybody that wants to meet up show some hands like the
man said! Weather should be perfect, I've never met any of y'all and would like to meet some 3rd genners, so don't be shy folks, come on down!

Sounds like the kind of gtg I have been waiting for.... but unfortuneatly mycar is not exactly show quality right now. She is going into the body shop in the next week or so for repairs and a complete paint job. I wish I could attend. I am going to miss out on alot of the years final meets because of all this. i hope to make it out to the next one if there is one.

Don't worry about show quality man, I'm not entering in the car show, just heading down in my ride to meet some folks and check out other rides. Bring yours up!
