How do you wire the GAIN button to a CD PLAYER?
Hi, I own a 86 Trans Am and was wondering what the wire looks like that comes from that GAIN button thats supposedly gives more bass. Well anyways, I want to know if its possible to wire that GAIN button up to a new cd player I'm going to be buying shortly? How would I do it? Thanks for all your help.

"If you have 2 RCAs (left and right) coming from your head unit, you can combine the tips of both the left and right RCAs"
NO. If you do this you will lose at lest 60% of your stereo separation from all of the outputs of the HU. The pre-amp outputs come right off the EVC IC in the HU though some resistors. If you did this some of the right signal will bleed back into left input of the amp in the HU and visa-versa.
