Well, I bought my Hedman's from Jegs' over a year ago and they remained new in the box. I think I gave $109.. I didn't plan on getting them coated until I heard of all the advantages of doing so.....Jet -hot charged me $179 + 20 shipping to coat them.. I asked about buying them dircect and they quoted me about $370 .....Before I sent them off I modified the top edge of the flanges to allow me to mount my Moroso centerbolt wire loom kit to the heads..I also welded in an o2 bung....

you can get the hedman ellite shorty headers, ceramic coated with thicker flanges and thicker gauge tubing for 259.99 from jeg's.

Knowing that I can return them to Jet-Hot for a free recoat at the first sign of coating failure is worth the extra $$
