East Coast Cruise 2003
East Coast Cruise 2003
Hey whats up guy. I don't normally post over here for obvious reasons, but I've got a good reason.
I was browsing camaroz28.com the other day and was linked to ls1.com where they are starting this up.
Here's the deal. The weekend of December 20th there is going to be a cruise from either Annapolis, MD or Washington, DC down the east coast to Ft. Lauderdale, FL. There's going to be a party in Ft. Lauderdale along with attendance at a pretty big street car show they've got down there.
As it looks right now, we will leave the start late the evening of the 18th, arrive in Ft. Lauderdale mid-afternoon Friday the 19th, party that night.
So far the info is:
Date: Thursday, December 18th to Saturday, December 20th
Time: Still being decided, leave evening of the 18th
Place: Washington, DC to Ft. Lauderdale, FL
Cost: $150 entry fee (covers t-shirts, stickers, party, working on group rate at a hotel)
I'm driving out there from Houston and so far I'm the only 3rd gen. We're looking to get as many cars as possible in on this thing. So far we've got about 20 cars including an '03 Cobra and myself, everyone else is LS1's.
So far the plan is to split the cars up into two groups, one that just wants to cruise down there leisurely, and the other that wants to go "slightly" faster.

One of the guys that is spearheading the event is at the Naval Academy and weather doesn't seem to be a concern. See if you can spread the word about this though, we're trying to get as many cars as possible to join in.
