i was thinking more along the lines of pictures of does installed in our cars. I have seen that startreck camaro but i didnt get the full effect of does lights because of everything else on it taking attention a way from them.

By my last thread i only meant that "here ya go" as a price of what you could expect to pay for a set. I do not know what they go for new but i am sure they would be over $200. I know you are looking for info on the install and if i find anything i will share. As far as anyone on this board doing it, i have yet to see anyone with it done.

Well, i got an email back. Here is what it said: Hello,
You have reached the person that built (and currently owns) the Star Trek Camaro.
The headlights are from a 1991 Nissan 300ZX. To fit them in, we had to built the entire front end out of fiberglass.
Thank you for your interest. Is there any additional information you need?

I emailed him back looking for some more info and maybe he will share some of it here with us. I'll let you know. thanks

Well, who knows, maybe it could be still. I mean, those pics do look like the lights fit right in! Either they did make a whole new front bumper for them, or they would fit with some "massaging"! Either way it is a sweet mod. I like it better than the monte carlo, caprice, truck swaps!
With the ammount of work that was put into that 300zx conversion, almost any set of headlights could be used. The 300zx set was a good choice because of the way they fit in relation to the stock headlights and the space provided, but there are other lights that would work well too. Use your imagination. The headlight mod I'm looking at doing does not involve massive ammounts of fabrication as far as the front clip, but still retains the recessed style of lights that most people are trying to eliminate. I would actually prefer a smooth look (no recessed lights), but in my situation its not practical to do that much work just for a set of headlights on a daily driven car. If the car was show only, then I would go for it, but for a daily driver? With my luck someone would back into my car and there goes the whole custom front clip. Nah no way!! I guess it all depends on how much that smooth look is worth to you. For some people it might be worth it.

I tend to disagree a little bit. Sure, some body work is one thing on a daily driver, but look at it this way. That s/c kit you have there on your Z28 CrazyHawaiian is much more money than compared to a headlight swap like this one. Now lets say for instance someone blind sides you and totals your car. Its all the same. So in retrospect to your last post, it all depends on where you spend the money on your car for that claim to be truthful. Right? Not just in front end work!? If that were the case, basically anything that we talk about here on the boards would be a waste of money on a daily driver. B/C lets face it, accidents do happen. Now, a 5 stage paint job costing over $5k, now that is a little rediculous on a street car, so yes, there are some things that shold not be done to a daily driver, but this, i do not see it as being a huge problem at all. Import guys do front end conversions all of the time. Also, the factor of where everyone gets thier money is another issue. I personally work hard for my car, so yes, i should be carefull where i spend my money so to not have such a huge loss if something were to happen! Its all in how each person sees things i guess. Don't really know how else to explain it. later
You could use the headlights from a Diablo 6.0
Here's a link to one of the few places to get HID Z32 lights http://conceptzperformance.com/Cart/...824.138.59.186
$1600 is a bit much for me, but those are the JDM version, I'm sure the headlights from here would be cheaper.
And for those not knowing what the star trek camaro is http://www.freestyle2000.com/startrek/lcars.htm
