verticle door kit for $400, yes its true(custom fit also)
No guys i'm not joking. After searchign around for a whole day, today i finally found a lambo door kit for cheap. Their kits are currently $400 until the first 100 of the sale have been sold.
http://cardoorcustoms.com/
The good thing is that they guarentee their stuff and it is a perfect polt on, fits into stock bolt holes. There is a warentee also.
For you guys interested in a group buy, the minimum buy is 20, and you get them 10% above cost, instead of what we would pay.
Sorry for spamming but alot of people would like todo this and the price you cant let it go. It will go back to $650 once 100 of the sale have been sold so act fast guys.
It does take 2 weeks for them to custom fabricate them and for you to get them, but $400 is well worth the wait.

it said they make special brackets for heavy door and smaller one out of aluminum for light doors. Ones for our doors would be steel. Just read all you can on tgheir site, it answers just abotu all the questions you could ask. Mainly in the Faq section.
Cardoorcustoms
Our design team from (CDC) made different styles of hinges depending on different sizes, shapes, and weight of each car. Some of our hinges use both steel and aluminum for light weight cars. For example, take a civic, the hinge we would make for a civic that has less play room behind the fender, we would not use that same hinge for a ford F150 truck. Instead we would use our bigger stronger all steel hinge with an outward angle for better results. CDC does all the work for you, seeing what hinge is best for you application and so on, all our customers have to do is let us know what car the application is for.

yeah d00ds, they also pretty much quarentee that you like the way it goes up. It said 20 different pivot points to swing exactly the way you want it to. Man i wish i had $400 now, since i spammed this it'll be gone by the time i get that kinda money.
Hmm..... does anybody want to loan me $400 so i can try it on and tell you how it went? Anyone willing to donate to the "help shane get verticle doors fund?" We have litte trans am that have sagging doors and top down solutions kit to fix it is half of this and this will be so much of an improvement to our poor cars. Please help us.
was trying to sound like one of those commercials that say, its only 15 cents a day, to help this poor little girl or boy.

Interesting how if you e-mail them it bounces back...and if you call them, their voice mail has some rap song on it. Are you sure these guys are even for real? Their customer gallery is "in construction"

Also search fro them in a search engine, you wont find shizzle, the onyl way i found them was that 4 seconds before i went o ebay they added 4 of these kits there.
Also you pay throuhg paypal so pretty much they cant jip you.
Obvioulsy these people just started and thats why everyhting is $400 and not $650; To draw customers, its a business strategy, you wouldn't know nayhting about it.

Or it could be a big scam as well. Did they have any pics of on the eBay auction?
You think a good strategy would be to show some pics of how they make everything. I would htink that R&D on a vertical door kit on just one car isn't something that takes 5 minutes...Hence the reason a company like Decah won't even consider your car unless there's a HUGE demand for it....like Civic's for example.
In all honesty, if it's for real, I'll be all over it...but usually if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

well obviously these people havn't been in business too long so, uh business starters wouldn't most likely know not to give their domain their home/cell phone numbers.
But clal them anyways, see who picks up.

I dont get you people who say stupid stuf like that.
Read their site, they warentee their work, and guarenteed to fit.

d00d just think about it, there is suck high markup on those "cusom fit" kits that its not even funny. You know for a metal bracket that they charge $450 for, they make with $50. Its just the markets demand is so high fro these they knwo they can charge more. But for once someone who can charge a small fee maybe making 75% markup at the most.
I mean d00d they even include wire extenders, none of the other kits do.

Plus paypal is fully refundable if you never get it, then if you do then return it if its not any good. Or jsut sell it for the same price to some numbscull.
You can really loose if you see it my way. I also called them and that voice mail is rap but i think it was a radio station, ya know like the ones when they put you on hold.
Also if my email gets a reply i'll post exactly what they say on the board, if it does too, i'd expect there to be one tomorow since i knwo whats going on in this business. Been moniorting their logins to their stuff and they logged in with in a half an hour ago.

Same difference in cheap fabrication/testing of design/materials as compared to tested, true and costly design/development/parts.
Over the years, GM skimped in the way door hinges were made.. look where that has left alot of peoples doors (including other GM makes).
Affordable regardless of design flaws just to sell a product....... Pinto......

Well then you guys just leave it at that and in 3 weeks when I’ve paid off my other debts and can get $500 I’ll buy them and install them. But until then you guys can rag on it all you want.
When I said if it’s cheaper but still gets the job done, I didn't mean things like that.
If the door mount is cheaper, well how could you make a cheap door hinge guys? If it’s made out of steel it can’t be that cheap. And if they aren’t made of anything less than 3/16in steel then they'll work just fine. If they don’t then they just gave me the perfect blueprint to go make my own high quality one for $50 bucks. I still saved a sh*t load of money no matter how you put it so let off already. You guys just think to little of situations. Just watch though, when I make the $400 cut and you guys don’t cause you waited too long, you'll be sorry. Then you'll have to pay $650. Have trust in people. If they do jip me then guess what, I know where they live and I’ll sew their asses, I’ve got lawyers in the family, pretty good ones too.
Also I know ways to turn bad experiences in to ways to make money for myself.
But yeah guys hold the topic for a few weeks and just wait, I’ll be the first guy on the board with lambo doors and a suicide hood (means it opens like a corvette). You'll wish you'd got in earlier.

I'm not ragging... just offering you some food for thought before you **** away good money on a bad idea. Should I care ? Not in the least. But, I'm no rich man myself and would hope if I had the same impulse desire, someone would at least try to smack a little reason into me before I just jumped in feet 1st before knowing all I needed.

Having been a welder/fabricator in a 'large' racing chassis part fabrication company in my past, I've seen what part failure can cause due to lack of quality in production of a part.
If you can make this happen for yourself, more power to you. Just with anyone, I would hate to see you screw yourself and your car over just because of a whim idea and junk, lowball priced parts. I apologize if I seemed rude, it's not my intention.

Well d00d, by the time I get the money needed for this mod I’ll respectively be watching that website the whole time. They are also selling 4 of them at a time on eBay. Search for "lambo doors" they'll be at the bottom. They just added them today and I’ll see what their ratings become of as they start to sell things. But I am a very smart buying but if I can save a pretty penny then I will. If I get this part in and it looks like it won’t do the job right then I’ll make a copy of it stronger then send the bitch back. I know a lot of people who can machine me some of them stronger for $50. I'm betting that’s what they pay for them too. They just charge suck high markup that it’s not even funny.
Maybe some people get 300% markup because the market craze for imports is so high, people will pay it. Maybe these people realize that and see that the demand is so high that by charging lower prices they can get mass amounts of sales making up for the low overhead. Its all business strategy and you'd have to have experience with it to know how it works. It seems to be lagid so far, but since they are so new you can’t really tell.
Just chillax man,
Shane

Ok if this company is legit...which I'm sure as sh*t not saying it is
How can you trust a company that hasn't even made 100 runs of a product yet states that it can custom fit it to your application but just knowing the make and model? They claim there is no drilling and welding required. But if there making one hinge for a thirdgen i certainly doubt there going to go buy a thirdgen make one test fit it, and quality test it to make sure that it works and then ship it to you. If you ask me for $400 you'll get (assuming they actually send you something) a hood shock and a piece of metal with holes in it.
So someone please lend him $400 to buy one!!!

Lol, alright buddy, how about you be our test dummy. If it works out for you, I'm in
But I sure as hell am not sending $400 to some business with these hints of scam:
- ****ty website design
- No pictures of product
- No real explanation of how their product works
- No explanation of how R&D happens so that these can be custom made for every make and model without the car being there with no drilling or welding
- E-mails bounce back
- LISTED BUSINESS PHONE # is a voicemail with a rap song
That's enough hint for me....BUT....if it is real and you get it, then I'll more than gladly eat my words and buy a set for myself as well
But I sure as hell am not sending $400 to some business with these hints of scam:- ****ty website design
- No pictures of product
- No real explanation of how their product works
- No explanation of how R&D happens so that these can be custom made for every make and model without the car being there with no drilling or welding

The one kit mae by street dreams is pretty cool. They found a way to angle the hinge on every car so that you dont have to worry abotu the door hitting the car when it rises. Its rpetty awesome and they have videos and pics.

When you are looking to modify the car that you plan to keep for long time should you ever say to yourself.....
"What's the cheapest way i can do this"
Good luck with it, just know that to do it right will be expensive....

Depends, on something like this there’s no real way out of getting a bad product in at least one way. I guarantee that none of these people tested these thing for very long to see what wear is cause. They prolly just open and closed them many times and then said, well it works, or in Japanese "well is works in Japanese." I remember in one video there was a Japanese guy instructing some d00d on what to do, in Japanese.
But I like to think that these people don’t make ****ty products. I'd like to thing that it will at least work for years I can get my moneys worth from it and then its time to do it again. So what $750 a year, not too much for the look it’ll bring.
Anyways, I don’t take the "cheap" way out of things; I just find a way to do it the same for less money. Trust me when I’m not doing anything I’m searching the web for my latest ideas on what to do to the car. Like I said I am a smart buyer and before I make a sale I do plenty of research. The conclusion I came up with it that there is no “right” or “wrong” way to make one of these kits. There is just a way. Now the fact that they said they had custom fit to al vehicles would be easy to do. May be he’d get 20 sales a week at one point, then he goes to a local junkyard with some cardboard and marks down the bolting patterns and everything and goes to fabricate them. That not to hard at all and I can believe that it is what he’ll be doing. Like I said I research these thing, and some of these “custom” places emailed me that they went to the junkyard to try the stuff out. Have faith in the American small business man. Some day I’ll be running my own business and I’ll be making some cash too.

Oh yeah, the reason I’m not even looking twice at the expensive "custom" applications is the way that the doors actually open. First you push the door out then up. I like it o only go up. That’s why I was looking at the $750 kit for a long time, but if I can get a kit for $400 then I will have no more problems with that. I mean its stupid push our then up. I guess it’s for when you don’t want to have to push the doors up all the time just sometimes. Ya know.

I'm only bringing the fact to light that sometimes you need to question the build quality and specifics of a product that is remarkably cheaper then the average.....
And you still haven't solved the major problem......Our doors are not a fiero door......they are heavy........
We all know what happened to the hood and hatch struts.....
it is still a project that requires skill, time and equipment to install, such as welding, cutting and repainting.

ALso i was anayising the videos on that$750 kit at Street Dreams and it will defianely work.
http://www.iserv.net/~strdream/hinges_production.html
I know i can get it to open the dorrs and all, but the fact that it doesn't lside the door out very far urdens the whole thought.
I have ofund a solution though, i will get my buddy to weld a Heavy Duty Hinge from home depot onto the actual hinge.
As you can see it wont be hard to add a hinge.I'll just have to figure out a way to limit the amount of sway that the door can do. The only draw back to this kit is the fact it is weld on only. Well as they say, weld on only. I think someone could get away with bolting it into the car.
you never know thought,

Everyplace that makes these kits has struts with them.
The one for $750 said that these kits have been successfully installed on car with heavy doors such as Camaro and Firebirds. They already know they are heavy, that’s why they give you heavy duty hood struts, ya know.
All of the kits out there offer something different but they all achieve the same goal, correct? Why not find the way it reaches the goal that suit you best and buy that kit.
I don’t know if you knew but I have a certified master mechanic and an auto body specialist going to help me if I get the weld on kit. I got this covered d00d. It’s a matted of when I get the money and which of the cheap kits I’m going to get.
As far as now, I am going to be getting the $750, until cardoorcustoms puts pics and specific details of their product. When they get their gallery up then it might change everything. But as for now I’m expecting to have to weld on the kit and if I do, that door isn’t going no where man. I guess my car will be guinea pig for everyone else car. That’s cool though I like being the experiment.
If anyone would like to donate money to the “help Shane get vertical door to help TGO fund,” then PM telling me how much you can donate and when. I’d be very thankful.

Try the search button this vertical door concept has been talked about a couple times. The one problem with vertical doers they will hit the piller, also the window might break when going up. Another problem is it isnt that the doors are heavy its that the center of gravity is greater then on shorter doors. d00d.

Alright, the doors under most circumstances will hit the a-pillar and everything, but I’m not talking about the hinges being mounted strait up and down, look at the pics below and see how the $750 kit has the hinges mounted so that they miss everything. I guess you people never though about mounting them this way. It makes the design flaws pretty much go away.
I have a very strong sense of angle and geometry and I can tell you that the kit will mount and all that has to be figured out is if you have t-tops, to make it so that it misses that lining above the door.
Thanks,
Shane

d00d dont even try me, i'm searched and read every single forum on this subject. I've done countless google searches for this and came up with useless info. All the people before just dreamed about it and never said why it wouldn't work, why it would work, why its not pheasible. People were just dreaming on the subject.

Also they are not butterfly door; they are scissor/jacknife doors, which is a lambo door.

Trust me I’ve done my research; I’ve spent all yesterday searching/reading every bit of info I could find on the subject. This will work. I know the difference between butterfly and lambo doors. You just need to listen.
