after comingt o my sences-
I've came to the conclsuion that this mod will have to wait. Atleast until i can have something to show off on the outside and inside. I'm not calling it quits and i still say my design will work, i'm just gonna stick to the plan-

---------------------------

97+ 4th Gen Console $50
Seats $100
Leatherier door panels $?
4th Gen Dash $300
Carpet $115
Rear Seat Covers $?

----------------------------

ROH Snypers 17in $180 (x 4)
Cooper Zeon 2XS $120 (x 4)
4th Gen Style Wing $450

----------------------------

4x6 Speakers $80
6x9 Speakers $100
Fiberglass the 6x9 baffle $?

-----------------------------

LT1 Engine $900
Accessories for install $500
Performance Upgrades $1500

-----------------------------

I hope you guys can respect that decision, but if you cant then fine i dont care. If i do happen to geta loose $800 i'll do it in a heartbeat. Maybe when i sell my 305 i'll do that.

Panthers are gonna loose 29-32 patriots - 4 seconds left

I can’t read instructions without pictures and put something together, because I have to see it. When you’re this way you gain very large dependence on these ways and then you perfect them.

Also they are not butterfly door; they are scissor/jacknife doors, which is a lambo door.

Read about it at the link below,
http://www.iserv.net/~strdream/hinges_production.html

Trust me I’ve done my research; I’ve spent all yesterday searching/reading every bit of info I could find on the subject. This will work. I know the difference between butterfly and lambo doors. You just need to listen.

I can not fathom why explaining the reasoning behind my idea to the fullest extent will make me look stupider. i say that it will make me look smarter because i've actually done research on the subject, that i've thought it through.

your welcome,

it is 'more stupid' . but please, continue

take the door off, weigh it, take all your measurements, use your amazing visualization skills to "see" where it will be when it is open, and then sit in the car, imagining where this almighty scissor door will be, and see if you can reach it to pull it down. And pull straps will look gimped, please don't.

Hey, if you can make this work, more power to you, but I really don't see this as working like you are thinking.

Btw, I learn things equally well no matter visual, words, etc. I am a *** :hail: :lala: :rolleyes

here is an email from cardoorcustoms i got it one day after i sent the email-

We appreciate you e mailing us and letting us know what is missing in our website. First, our gallery pictures will be uploaded no later than this coming thursday. Second, it seems as if this might be a bogie website and product according to your friends, but its far from it. You do not have to purchase our product from us until we prove our product. You can take a look at our product package that we send out with full color pictures and listings of our new designs of our NEW hinges coming soon. These hinges are not LAMBO DOOR hinges, but yet a more new technology of how doors go up. They "ELEVATE" So if you do not mind, sending an address so that we can send our package. Thank You for your interest in CarDooRCustoms!

Subject: question on lambo door

Alright man, I'm very much considering using the kit on your website,
caroorcustoms.com . We have been talking about your site in our forum
https://www.thirdgen.org. Thing is you have no proof of product, no pics, no
exact details on the product. Its almost as if there is no product, just
your going to take our money. Now $400 for a kit makes it well worth it my
friend.

question-
when is gallery going be up?
can you email pic of actual hinge?
how long is the warrantee?
how do you custom fit these hinges, do you have every car in a shop?

I'd recommend answering these questions to the fullest extent, my friends
not eh board will be buying everything you got for out car, 82.92
firebird/camaros. I'm telling you now that if you can get pics to me and
specific details you'll have bout 100 sales the day you answer my questions.

Also, if we were wanting to buy these in mass quantities, like as a dealer
but not buy anymore times then one, then how much would the cost be. Well
all do have the same cars so we can buy 100 kits easily within 2 weeks of
notification. Not including all the people who are just going go ahead and
buy for themselves.

thanks, please respond soon,
Shane

Guys, i think wew were wrong, they are lagid. See how you guys come to conclusions too easily. I told you they seemed right. Well anyways, i'm gonna send them my address so they can send me their pack.

It's obvious you are trying to "advertise" for this fake company and trying to rip off a bunch of us honest, hard-working guys.

Tell you what....I'm a rich guy (really i am) i will friggin send the $400 to this "jigga-man" and see if i get my door kit. If i do, I'll do a raffle type deal for everyone in this thread PRIOR to me posting and i will send the kit to whoever wins it...HOW ABOUT THAT YOU TWONK???

so NOBODY BUY THE KIT until i update you.

BTW to "jigga-door man" I will have my guys all over your *** in such a hurry you will really and truelly wish on your soul that you didnt start this crap. Really, in my world there is no such thing as "hiding behind the internet" I promise you, you will be found.

D00d how could I be with these guys. I live in Jacksonville Florida and they are in California. How am I going to work with them? I don’t care enough. I just though it would be a nice idea to tell everyone that there MAY be a cheap solution to this problem. Also a thought that I would even run a scam like this and already be planning my trip to thirdgen nationals is crazy, people would kill me. If I’m going to get my *** royally beaten I might as well do it with something more than $400, ya know what I mean. I have absolutely no reason to be with these people, check my posts, I’ve never said anything about this before3 days ago, and I just found out that these kits were even available. I thought it would be sweet if we could use them also. It amazes me how people don’t realize when people are trying to help the, then turn around and want to kill them.

your welcome,

shane

You either with these scam artists or your a f-cking moron.

I am not gonna send my money to the dude that was in that picture all pimped out in his bling and posin gangsta style for the camera. Yeah sure, lets send him 400 bucks thru the mail and see what happens. lol.

Personally, even if they did make these doors, why the hell would u want to put a vertical door on a thirdgen? Not only would that look retarded but imagine going to the grocery store and pullin up next to some people in your IROC-Z and then you open your door like that....people aren't gonna think its cool cause they know its a f-ckin camaro / trans am. Not an exotic or delorian. lol P O S E R

I hope chevyboy07 91 wasn't serious in sending this guy money, no one should. kidrcth, reminds of the kids who saw the "Tornado" commerical and went out and bought it immediately.

C'mon guys.. weather he's learned his lesson or not, no need to keep hammering away on him.

We all know it's a novel concept but, not easily done, easily affordable and certainly no easy engineering feat.

I'm done trying to play 'a voice of reason'... if he has the money to **** away (which he had to back out of a $5 bet)... let it be a life learning experience for him.

Thats just the thing...he hasn't learned his lesson. And your going to see another stupid as sh*t post by him within the next few days and its probably going to be even more retarded than this one. It just pisses me off and i really think the boards would be better off without stuff like this.

You know this, I know this, probably anyone who has read the entirety (or even a mild portion) of this post will most likely realize this.
The best thing to do is let it be and the next one like this... ignore it. It will die as fast as when it comes time to front the cash for a newly designed hood, hatch, wing or, header/exhaust part.
I'm not one to carry on as I did in this post but, even I can't shut up and just watch all the time.
But, there's a time to just let it go.

Posts like this is proof that hairdryers really do need that tag on them....

Do you really want to know?

-Every time I race on my bike I end up crashing somehow (or at least before the last time I crashed and broke my dual suspension bike) When that happened he seemed to go towards my side of the road and he hit me, I run off the road into a fire hydrant and flew into a stop sign, broke a rib that still sticks out now.

-I was messing with our old 60's phone system and shocked myself so bad I still have burn marks on my ears. You don’t get burn marks where you touch the thing, only where the electricity escapes you.

-I've gotten my hand stuck in one of those pool pump inlets. It looked like my whole hand was a hickey, so purple.

-I put a $200 remote control car in the microwave and saw lightning hit is, my mom was so furious she saved up for that for so long and we were on welfare at the time. Now I wish I never did that.

-Just about a year ago I put aluminum foil in the microwave and saw all kind of cool colors, then was stupid enough to pick the foil up with my bare hands, had a cast on for a couple weeks.

-Oh yeah when I was three my mom just got done using her curling iron and I grabbed it by the hot part and had to have a cast on again, but only for a few weeks.

Do you really want to know the rest of them???

But to make sure I keep this thirdgen related; make sure you take the precautions to never do these things while you’re driving your thirdgen camaro/firebird.
