House of Camaro... AAA+
For those of us in SoCal, visit House of Camaro in the San Fernando Valley! www.houseofcamaro.com If you're looking for used parts in good condition for your thirdgen, Tom's probably got them.
No matter where you're from, check-out his website, and drop Tom a note. Used parts are hard to judge if you can't actually see them, but if he says the part is in good shape, you can take his word that it is.
I'm not big on used parts for my Formula, but I visited Tom's showroom today, and I spent about two hours there like a kid in a candy store! I found a very hard-to-find, high-end part I'd been looking for for many years, it was in excellent condition, and it was very fairly priced! Needless to say, I'm happy!
And thanks go to another of our excellent vendors, and sponsor, Lon of TDS. He's who set me up with House of Camaro. I've met both men, and I've seen both shops. And let me say, they each love their(our) cars, and their businesses each reflect that.

Hey, yeah, that was me at TDS. Well, the louver is cracked, but the pic's too dark to be able to tell what anything looks like anyway. I just got a brand new louver from House of Camaro though, so once I grind-out that opening a little more so I don't crack the new louver, it'll look much better.

Good idea, that would look cool, and it sure would suck in a lot of air! But no, I hadn't planned on running two. This was just for fun, and I don't have to worry about hoses and the battery. To do two would mean avoiding and/or moving that stuff. Too much work, lol.

House of Camaro is a great place!
My g/f just bought a 92 Firebird (of course she was influenced by me...) and her Driver Power window motor was shot. Fairly priced motor from Thomas and he even took us to the back and gave us a quick overview of removing and replacing the motor. Tom :yourock:
Now to get around to installing it...
Maybe this Saturday...

I just bought my wonderbar from there, awesome business. I had other people e-mailing me saying they would sell me one for 40-50 but i got mine from Tom for $20 even with shipping it was only $30. I will DEFINITELY get more parts from HOUSE OF CAMARO. :hail:

I visited House of Camaro again yesterday. I LOVE that place, and Tom's such a cool guy! I broke those impossible-to-get-off, tapered Panhard Bar bolts, and Tom has them--blasted nice and clean. If you break the U-bolts for the stabilizer bar brackets when changing your rear bushings, he's got sets of those, too, all cleaned-up. He's got all the strange hardware.
In the 'Car Audio' section of this site, people have asked about the factory subwoofer system that came in these cars. Tom's got a couple of sets of those. He's also got a few Delco radios with the built-in EQs, too.
And if anyone's looking for nice factory wheels that're ALREADY polished, he's got a set of '85-'87 16x8 wheels like on my Formula(attached pic). They look great!
It's so much fun to browse around that place. Anyone from the SoCal area who's never been there should definitely go--but call Tom first to be sure he's in! Even if you're not looking for anything in particular, it's hard to go there and not buy something!

I used House of Camaro last year when I switched my 86 from auto to standard. Tom had the parts and had them for a great price. When I got the parts they looked great. I live in MD and I recommend using House of Camaro, even over the phone.

Sorry everyone, but I just had to revive this topic.
I love this place! It seems I'm always going down to see Tom for something. Most recently it was for some of those little black plastic lug nut caps.
He's got everything--even complete TPI intake systems! So I wanted to put this back up to remind everyone where they can get nice used parts.
But when you call, don't get confused and think you've dialed a wrong number when he answer's "Thank you for calling TRC, Tom speaking." That'll be House of Camaro, so you'll have dialed correctly.
