I use either Turtle Wax or Mothers myself... I've heard good things about Meguiars (sp?) too, but I've never tried it.

ZAINO

I have tried every wax mothers, meguiars, car brite, and many others. But I have been using the zaino system for about 6 months now and it works far better than anything else I have tried. But i wish I could get it at the store and not have to order it online.

After having used a few different products working for a detailing company I have to say I LOVE Meguiars #26 High Tech Yellow wax. The stuff is absolutely awesome! You can get it either as liquid, or as a paste and it's great. It's long lasting and the shine you get from it is unbelievable! I haven't ever used Zaino so I can't say one way or the other about it, but after using various products the Meguiars #26 is what I vote for!!!

From my experience, Zymol is best for cars with faded paint, it really brings back the shine. But for paint in good shape, Meguires Gold Class is what I always use. Curious to see how the NXT compares....

How about the Turtle Wax Platinum Series - Ultra Gloss? Supposedly the best stuff out (in terms of wax)...

Tried Zymol, good wax, last pretty long. Tried Gold Glass, better shine, but didn't last as long (Not a problem to me). Today I purchased some Meguiars NXT. After that bottle is gone, i'll probably try some zaino.

I LIKE TURTLE WAX MYSELF. I'VE BEEN USING IT FOR YEARS,I GUESS EVERY SINCE MY DAD TAUGHT ME HOW TO WAX. SINCE HE'S BEEN FIXING & PAINTING CARS FOR MORE THAN 34 YEARS I REALLY VALUE HIS OPINION. JUST MY OPNION THOUGH

Plain and simple....if you have a killer paint job to begin w/, you won't need WAX to "bring it out"...wax is just a protectant, so, putting it on isn't going to give you a miracle paint finish. Get the paint right to being with...

Dupicolor, till it runs out, since it was free. Is there any wax that would repell dust more than others?

i used to use gold glass last year, but i thought the paint started to look cloudy at the end of fall. so after the painter did some work on the car over fall which included another wet sand and buffing...i found that the paint looks a ton better with just using mequiars glaze then use spray detail to keep it looking great

I use nothing but Meguiars #16 Professional paste wax. There is nothing in it as far as cleaners and such. I've used it now for over 20 years. You can find it only in auto paint stores or from places such Classic Camaro. It has long lasting protection and does a great job of hiding swirl marks and the hazing of old paint. Puts the needed oils and such back into the paint.

i want to clarify that it isn't really the wax that hurts paint. it's the fact that it seals paint which helps keep harsh contaminents in the paint and eventually causes problems....that coupled with its magnifying properties on scratches are reasons enough why people who have very expensive paintjobs don't use them.

Yeah, but the people that can afford those really expensive paint jobs generally don't drive'em everyday and certainly wouldnt leave the vehicle out in any elements like some people who don't have any options but too...it's these drivers that better have something protecting that paint.....

if your daily driving that your paint really needs wax then your abusing the hell out of your car. abused paint that has alot of miles needs them........

everyone always thinks its a money issue. paint costs what people will pay, it's ignorance that ruins paint. these companies make a fortune off different types of wax and their claims. if you want to use it do it, i would on a daily driver that i didn't care about.

So what would you use on a daily driver you cared about?. Is your third gen a daily driver?Or , do you have an expensive paint job and drive it sparingly? I hate to break it to you but paint IS a money issue. You said it yourself"costs what people will pay" So let's face it-you get what you pay for...How could you possibly drive a vehicle daily and not have mother nature abuse it???If the sheer pleasure of driving my Z 60 miles daily is abuse.... drop my shorts and send me straight to bubba....ouch

As you can tell in the last pic, you can use zaino on glass too. Doesn't streak or smear at all. Shines like, well, glass
