I didn't know MSE modified a 25th Anniversary T/A. Awsome! I saw a cross-fire/automatic 25th for sale near me about a year ago. didn't have the money to buy it.
can anyone shed any light on how many of the 25ths they modified? Interesting find to say the least.

It isnt a 25th Anniversary TA. It was the 25th anniversary of the Daytona 500. The 25th anniversary TA wasnt until 94.

that's what I meant, I was too lazy to type it all out.
Ive been reading up on these MSE's and this was the first I have ever seen or heard of a Daytona T/A being modified. Does anyone know if there were more than one of these cars modified? I wish I had the bankroll to buy it. I say that about alot of cars though! Rear seats are wrong or replaced. I too was not aware of any 25th Daytonas being MSE cars and I run the 25th Daytona TA website/registry!
I wonder if the car has the correct Y82 (or is it Y84) code?

The MSE is not my car, I lived in Glendale from 1978 to 1981, just a few blocks from Mecham Pontiac and visited them quite alot. My sister still lives there and saw one of the MSE DT500's back in 1983. I do have three 1983 DT500's, one CFI-Automatic, purchased new and two Carb-5-Speeds. I did look at a DT500 Hardtop back in the late 80's in Simi Valley, CA but it was to trashed for the money.
