Finally finished assembling my Moser 12 bolt for my z..I bought it used and freshened it up this summer with many new parts...some of which include..

Moser 12 Bolt housing powdercoated black (used)
Moser reinforced diff cover/girdle powdercoated black by CE Coatings (used)
Moser forged 33 spline axles with pressed on bearings/big Ford ends (used)
Moser 1350 series u joint billet yoke (new)
Richmond 3.73 street series gears (new)
Eaton 33 spline posi-800# springs with 18 steel clutch plates (new)
Ratech solid pinion spacer (new)
ARP wheel studs (new)
ARP ring gear bolts (new)
Spohn LCA relocation brackets (new)

..should hold up to just about anything I throw at her

Now to build the 400 and TH350 I just picked up to abuse this damn thing

 

Looks sweet! Where'd you ever find a used housing to fit a F-body?

The classifieds about two years ago..a member TopForm was selling it as he was parting out his project Formula at the time.He bought it new,bolted it in empty and then took it back out and I bought it as a housing,axles,diff cover package and filled it with the rest of the parts listed above..was never even filled with oil.Only thing wrong with it when I got it was some scratched powdercoating from being bolted in (panhard &LCA bolt holes) but that was it..was very happy with the purchase.Would have been built sooner but my daughter was born 19 months ago which soon after required purchasing a house...yada yada we all know the story..so two years passed before I got to finish it.She even helped me from time to time by throwing tools all over the garage..lol
