Has anyone heard anything about our TGO member who was supposed to race on this show? Surely the race has happened by now.

 

If I remember correctly, it's supposed to air in November. So you are right, it probably has happened by now. But you know that they are contractually obligated not to say anything until the release date or they'll get in trouble.

Honestly, I like thirdgens, and I like to see them win. But remembering the attitude of the posts in that thread, I think he is gonna get beat. But thats just my opinion. I'm hoping to hear some news. I thought it was going down in october. But stu is probably right, it has probably happened, but it just hasn't aired yet.

 

They are set to run on October 16th and the show airs in February according to the Pinks site. So they haven't run yet.

 

Anyone know when the race is gonna be? It just says october on the site.

Even if he did sign an agreement, how can he keep that a secret for like 6 months? Dont think that is possible. Especially when he wins and has new civic sitting in the driveway,hummm... you buy a new car? LMAO Some one is going to find out.

 

I can't believe you guys. Let me break it down for you. You sign an agreement that says if you say anything before the show airs, you don't get paid. Even the most stupid people understand what not getting paid means.

Although he'd probably tell his closest friends, and then they of course would tell everyone. Although I think he's going to lose. Anyway, you are totally right, it will get out.

 

I dont know, i wouldnt count out the thirdgen entirely.

He gets paid for the show? That would make some sense. Didnt think of that and dont think he mentioned it. Probly get some compensation if you lose. LOL But yeah, only him and his "Posse" with him will know and they all would have to get paid well. It would be so exciting to tell everyone the outcome and especially if you dont have your car anymore or have new extra one. LOL

 

Dustin dont tell us anything if u just post a pic of a honda then u will still get paid

prolly cause he lost.... and can't admit to losing after talking all that he talked. and notice now that ppl will see how after he built this car his shop is going to go to ruins. and when they see the thirdgen.org sticker on his car they might come here and read post about how ppl tell him to change this part and with him running a shop he still has to ask what is this basic part.

Keep in mind he had a 305TPI that ran 13s on nitrous, if I recall correctly. I'm pretty sure any Civic that's going on TV for pink slips is gonna be running faster than 13s.

i know someone that is on the show pinks. anyways he went out to Iowa to race. you all will hear the saying "it wasn't negotiated" being screamed at the producers. this is going to be quite funny. basically the race was going to be "on HP" only. the other kid still had his bottle in the car. so you guys will see what else happens in february. that's all i've heard about it.

TGO's server had a power outage and things have not been right since. Many posts got deleted and moved around.

 

I did the race on saturday. weird rules. kind of pissed me off. I raced my 2000 formula against a 96 lt1 car. wait and see what happens

Well, I know a little bit more about junkass's car than i used to, and I think that it was a good possibility that the guy with the civic would have got his *** handed to him.
